Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 25, 2025

Publifia is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our Google Sign-In feature and connect your Gmail account to our service.

1. Information We Collect

When you use the Google Sign-In option, we collect only the following information:

  • Your Google email address
  • Your name (if available in your Google profile)
  • Authentication token necessary to send emails on your behalf

We do not collect:

  • Your email content
  • Your email history
  • Your contacts
  • Any other Gmail or Google Workspace data not explicitly required for sign-in or outbound messaging

2. How We Use Your Gmail Data

Publifia uses Gmail access only for:

  • Sending PR-related emails that you initiate through the Publifia platform.
  • Verifying your identity for authentication and security purposes.

Publifia does not:

  • Read, store, or analyze the contents of your Gmail account.
  • Share your Gmail data with third parties for advertising, analytics, or profiling.
  • Use your Gmail account to send unsolicited emails.

3. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to ensure your data and tokens are securely stored and encrypted. Access tokens are used solely to authenticate email sending and expire automatically after a set period. All sensitive data is stored using secure encryption protocols.

4. Data Sharing

Publifia will never sell or trade your Gmail credentials or any associated data. The only instances in which limited data (such as your email address or pitch content) may be shared include:

  • When you explicitly trigger an outbound pitch via our platform.
  • When required to comply with legal obligations or court orders.

5. Revoking Access

You may revoke Gmail access at any time:

  • Through your Google Account’s security settings.
  • Or by contacting Publifia Support directly.

Once access is revoked, Publifia will immediately delete all stored tokens and disable Gmail-related functionality.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Effective Date” above and notify you via email or through a notice on our platform.

7. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this policy or our practices, please contact:

Publifia Support Team
Email: contact.publifia@gmail.com

8. Data Retention and Deletion Disclosures

We retain minimal user data necessary for the core functioning of the platform (e.g., email address, basic profile info, access token). Access tokens are stored securely and are automatically deleted upon expiration, account revocation, or deactivation. We do not retain any email content or metadata beyond the scope of what is required to fulfill your outbound PR request.

Users may request full deletion of their account and associated data at any time by contacting our support team. Upon receiving such a request, all personally identifiable data, including access credentials and any stored PR activity logs, will be permanently deleted within 7 business days.
